Enjoy the privacy of the River House
There is a sleepy little town in Northern Florida's Panhandle along the Gulf of Mexico called Sopchoppy. The town has the great fortune of being able to say that it surrounds itself with one of our country's most beautiful National Forests, the Apalachicola National Forest.
Sopchoppy gives you this quaint old-fashioned feel of simpler days. The town was named after the river flowing in front of our home & rumored to mean "Dark Waters" for the tannin colored river that runs through it. In the spirit of the name we've decided to name our latest addition... "Sopchoppy River House". We invite you to read on & discover the reasons why you should plan your next getaway at our river house.
A River House with lots of charm
From the moment you arrive at this newly remodeled home you begin to feel all the stresses of everyday life melt away. First thing to do after unpacking the car might be to relax a little on one of the decks or the screen porch looking over the river while taking in all the beauty of the surrounding forest. The interior of the river house is an open concept with cathedral ceilings, loft bedroom & fully equipped kitchen. The home will easily accommodate up to four people.
